MENSTRUAL MIRACLES
Providing sustainable menstrual solutions and education to women in need around the world.
ABOUT
Menstrual Miracles is dedicated to ending period poverty, one pad at a time, focusing on supporting those in need across the Middle East. Every summer, we travel to the region, bringing high-quality menstrual products purchased in the U.S. through generous GoFundMe donations. By distributing these supplies, we ensure that individuals receive the care and dignity they deserve.

"Period Poverty In Perspective"
By Shukran Foundation
Why Jordan & New York?
To start, the founders Juliet and Nicole, are Jordanian by ethnicity and currently reside in New York State. Interestingly, research highlights that Jordan ranks among the countries with the highest monthly costs for period products, while New York leads as the most expensive state in the U.S. for these products.
According to PlushCare,
"Our map displays how much a month’s supply of period products costs locally in 107 countries, revealing that Algeria ($34.05), Jordan ($26.51), and South Korea ($25.40) are the most expensive countries in which to have a period."
PlushCare also states,
"In July 2016, New York joined the growing list of U.S. states that have repealed the tampon tax (or pink tax), the moniker given to the sales tax added to period products like tampons. Despite that, it’s still the most expensive state in the country to menstruate: a month’s supply of period products costs $15.56."
